Hello, I’m Paul Lazes, owner of Rock Pond Studio. We opened our doors on Martha’s Vineyard in 2000 after seventeen years of architectural design and renovation work in Manhattan. Our passion resides in the fact that the kitchen is the heart of your home.
I feel every space throughout your home should reflect your style through our comfortable and efficient designs. No job is too big or small. We take your budget very seriously.

A Hands-On Approach, from Design to Completion
At Rock Pond Studio, every project begins with a personal in-home consultation. As your kitchen, bath, and interior designer, I work with you to discuss your wants and needs in depth, then create a solution that delivers superior design and functionality while complementing the style of your Martha’s Vineyard home.
I provide detailed drawings so you have a clear visual of your new space before the project begins. Rock Pond Studio also sources the fine details, a carefully selected variety of materials and finishes that help create a more relaxed design and a more comfortable setting in your home.
From there, I stay with you through every step of the build and installation process, working with your contractor as your advocate to ensure a smooth process and bring your vision to life exactly as you envisioned.
